Love, Like, and Pass: Skincare

This post is part of a new series where I cover a different topic (fashion, skincare, hair, etc) and share three products with you. One I love, one I like, and one I would pass on.

Love: Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Face Mask

There are not enough words for me to express how much I LOVE this face mask. I have tried a lot of face masks over the years. Face masks are some of my favorite ways to practice self care and I am always looking to try a new one. Earlier during quarantine I got a Peter Thomas Roth skincare set (similar here) and was excited to try out so many different ones. The Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Face Mask quickly became my favorite. I typically use this mask at night and my face is always so smooth but it’s nothing compared to how my skin looks when I wake up the next morning. My skin tone is so even (goodbye redness) and so so smooth. A little goes a long way too so it will definitely last you a while! Shop here or here.

Like: Caffeine Eye Cream

Look for the price, it’s going to be hard to beat The Inkey Caffeine Eye Cream. At only $9.99 and a little going a long way, you are truly getting a steal. While I do feel it helps calm my puffiness in the moment, it’s not a product that lasts all day for me or does anything miraculous. It’s great to item to add to your eye skincare routine, but it won’t be your only product. At the price point, I’d probably but it again but I will also keep looking for other products too. Shop here.

Pass: Hangover Pillow Balm Ultra-Hydrating Lip Treatment

The amount of hype around this product really let me down. It was sold out everywhere for so long, once I finally got it, I felt like I had won some sort of prize. For a balm, I really appreciated the applicator but that’s about where the list ends. At $21 I was expected my lips to feel softer and soothed after each used (as described) but I really didn’t feel like it did anything different than a regular chapstick. And like every other lipgloss in this sort of container, it’s near impossible to get all of the product out of it. It worked well enough that if it was gifted to me I would definitely use it, but I can think of better ways to spend my money. Shop here or here.
